I have been interested in art since the moment I could first hold a crayon. It was always my favourite subject throughout my school years. I have dabbled in drawing, watercolour and acrylic painting, pottery, encaustic, mixed media, carving, stained and fused glass, but my one true love is mosaic.

Since retirement in 2016, I became more serious about improving my mosaic skills. Needless to say, our house was running out of wall space to display all my creations so I had to broaden my horizons. So, to date I have sold pieces at the annual Art Factory Art Fair in Renfrew. I also sell pieces in The Gallery Gift Shop in Arnprior and I also sell privately and take commissions. Most recently I was selected for a pop-up travelling exhibit through Ottawa Valley Community Arts. This exhibit travelled to Eganville, Arnprior and Petawawa.

I enjoy the creative process. I find it meditative to explore and improve my artistic abilities. It brings me great pleasure and I hope I can share that with others.
