I DO MAINLY PHOTOGRAPHY.  I STARTED OUT WITH A LOVELY BOX CAMERA.  I WENT DIGITAL & NOW HAVE A NIKON D90.  I AM AN ACCOMPLISHED EMBOIDERER..

-USING THE NEEDLE-[Middle English embrouderen, partly from embrouden (from brouden, broiden, braided, embroidered, from Old English brogden, past participle of bregdan, to weave; see braid) and partly from Old French embroder (en-, intensive pref.; see en-1 + broder, brosder, to embroider, of Germanic origin).] IN THIS SHOW I DID A WEAVING ON WHICH I EMBROIDERED 3 SHIPS ON THE OCEAN,$75 A PICTURE OF THE SHAW FESTIVAL AT HARVEST TIME-$80.00, A PHOTOGRAPH ON CANVAS-OF SPICES IN SPANISH MARKET-$75.00.  THIS TYPE OF PICTURE CAN BE SEEN FROM BOTH THE SIDES & FRONT & AFTER QUITE A BIT OF HUNTING CAME UP WITH A TYPICAL PICTURE OF A BUILDING IN SWITZERLAND-$85.00 I ALSO MAKE PURSES.  THE ONE IN THE SHOW IS FOR THE ADVENTURISH PERSON WHO IS NOT AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT & WHO DOES NOT WANT TO CARRY A SUITCASE AROUND.  ON DISPLAY IS A MINIATURE JAPANESE GARDEN WHICH I CREATED.  I ALSO MAKE TULIPS OUT OF FEATHERS, & IMAGINERY FLOWERS USING SEA URCHINS & FEATHERS.  ANOTHER TYPE USES MILKWEED PODS WITH THE SEEDS REMOVED.  SOME OF THESE WILL BE MADE AT THE CARLETON PLACE LIBRARY AFTER THE LIBRARIAN HAS DONE HER MID SUMMER PLANNING.

COULD USE SOME ONCIDIUM ORCHIDS FOR MILKWEED PODS.  THE FLOWERS YOU WOULD THROW OUT.
